Bad news for fans of the Cherry Cabaret. I'm going to need to wrap up this iteration of Cherry Cabaret. I think it was a cool idea and I would have loved to continue, BUT I don't think the game is fun to play or make. Also, I've got serious burnout making those animations, and I realized that I may just not like animating, lol. Not to mention I got frustrated because I just cannot get it to port to mobile which was hghly requested and i think it's becaue of the videos or something else going on. I think it's better to rip the bandage off than have it just stay on permanent hiatus.

A few things

1. This version of the game will stay up, but I will change the status to being no longer updated.

2.  I have a new version of the Cherry Cabaret in the works. I will make it into a more traditional visual novel, with a story and cutscenes. I actually have 6 adoptable lined up to release on the next patch that I never released that I'll use for the story version, and I'll later release them to be adopted

3. Speaking of adoptable, I'm going to keep the adoptable shop open, but without tying the adopts to a game, I just want to just upload character sheets without needing to wait for them to debut in a game. All the girls in this version have been adopted out and have good homes. Thank you everyone who adopted them <3

4. When I have a demo of the new version of Cherry Cabaret I'll release that as a new game here on Itch so make sure you are following my profile if you want to get alerts for that.


Again, I am super sorry. The game's dev  lasted only a few months, and then I decided to drop it. Well, it sucks, but I'm still making games. I'm just trying to find one that I'm going to be passionate about and stick with it till the end, and I can't do that if I have projects I don't want to work on holding me back. So I hope you stick around for what I'm going to cook up next <3
